Project-Based Consulting

Focused Solutions with Clear Deliverables

Who This Is For

You've been putting off this launch, system build, or operational overhaul because thinking about all the moving parts makes you want to take a nap. You know exactly what needs to happen, you just need someone to actually manage the execution while you stay focused on running your business.

You don't need hand-holding or endless strategy sessions. You need someone who can take the plan, fill in the gaps you haven't thought of yet, manage all the details, and deliver results you can implement immediately.

This works best when:

  • You have a defined problem that needs solving

  • You're ready to move quickly on a known issue

  • You want clear deliverables and a predictable timeline

  • You're ready to implement solutions and run with them after the project ends

Why Me?

I bring both the spreadsheet AND the intuition to your project.

I can see the technical workflow gaps (this integration won't work, that handoff is missing documentation, your timeline doesn't account for review cycles) AND sense the team dynamics affecting execution (your team is burned out from the last launch, that contractor needs clearer direction, you're avoiding a difficult conversation).

Most project managers give you a Gantt chart and call it strategy. I give you a realistic plan that accounts for how your business actually operates - including the messy, human parts that derail even the best-laid plans.

How It Works

  1. Free Consultation

30 Minutes

We discuss your specific challenge, goals, timeline, and what success looks like.

I’ll ask questions to fully understand your needs and determine if we’re a good fit.

Depending on project complexity, a follow-up call may be needed to finalize scope and prepare your proposal. Any additional time will be included in your estimate.

2. Scope & Quote

Within 1 Week

I provide a detailed project proposal including scope, deliverables, timeline, and fixed pricing based on estimated hours.

You’ll know exactly what you’re getting before we begin. No surprises, no scope creep without your approval.

3. Execution

Fully Dependent on Scope

Once you approve and pay the deposit, we kick off. I manage the project from start to finish with regular progress updates.

You stay informed without being in the weeds. I handle the details, flag issues proactively, and keep everything moving forward.

4. Delivery & Handoff

Final Week

You receive completed deliverables, comprehensive documentation, and implementation support.

Everything is documented so you (or your team) can maintain it independently. I don’t hand you a plan and disappear - I ensure you’re set up for success after I am gone.

What’s Included in Every Project

Strategic Planning

We start with a clear plan: goal deliverables, timeline, and measures of success. You know exactly what “done” looks like before we begin.

Complete Documentation

Everything is documented - processes, decisions, systems, workflows. No institutional knowledge lives only in my head. You’re set up for long-term success.

Regular Communication

Weekly progress updates (minimum) via your preferred method. You always know where we are and what’s happening next.

Proactive Problem-Solving

I don’t just execute the plan - I flag issues before they become fires, suggest alternatives when roadblocks appear, and keep the project moving forward.

Implementation Support

Guidance and support as you implement the solutions. I don’t just hand you a 50-page document and disappear - I ensure you know how to use what I’ve built.

Final Review

Post-project review to ensure deliverables meet expectations, gather feedback, and discuss next steps if needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • If scope changes come up, we'll discuss them before moving forward. Minor adjustments that don't impact timeline or hours are usually fine - that's part of the collaborative process.

Significant changes (new deliverables, expanded timeline, different direction) will be quoted separately at $75/hour. I'll always give you a clear estimate before proceeding so there are no surprises.

The goal is completing what we agreed to, not constantly chasing moving targets. If your needs are constantly shifting, an Extended Partnership might be a better fit than project work.

  • During our free consultation, I'll ask about your goals, deliverables, timeline, and complexity. Based on that conversation, I'll estimate the hours required and provide you with a fixed-price quote.

Project pricing follows a volume discount structure:

    • Up to 40 hours: $75/hour ($60 for founding clients)

    • 41-80 hours: $60/hour

    • 81-120+ hours: $50/hour

You'll receive a detailed proposal with estimated hours, total investment, scope, and timeline before you commit to anything.

  • I build realistic timelines that account for review cycles, decision-making time, and the reality of running a business. I don't overpromise to win the project.

Projects can go over OR under estimate. If we finish in fewer hours, your final invoice reflects actual time worked. If we're approaching the estimated hours due to scope expansion, I'll flag it immediately and we'll discuss options:

    • Adjust scope to fit original estimate

    • Add hours at $75/hour to complete as planned

    • Split into phases with the remainder as a follow-up project

I never exceed estimated hours without explicit approval. No surprise invoices, no hidden costs.

  • Not at all - you don't need to have the solution mapped out. That's what I'm here for.

But to give you an accurate quote, you do need clarity on:

    • Your goal : What are you trying to achieve?

    • Key context : Team size, current systems, timeline constraints, budget range

    • Decision-making: Are you the one who can approve and move forward?

I'll help you figure out the how; the approach, deliverables, timeline, and what actually needs to happen to reach your goal.

If you're still in the "I know something's broken but I'm not sure what" phase, we can start with a mini systems audit (5-10 hours). I'll review your current operations, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and provide a prioritized roadmap of what needs attention. From there, we can scope specific projects based on what will have the biggest impact.

This ensures you're investing in the right solutions, not just guessing at what might help.

  • Absolutely! Many clients start with one project and realize they have several operational areas that need attention.

If you find yourself wanting to book project after project, that's usually a sign an Extended Partnership would be more efficient and cost-effective. We can discuss transitioning to ongoing support during our final project review.

But yes - you're welcome to work with me on as many individual projects as you need, whenever you need them.
