Working With Sky, LLC

Working With Sky, LLC ("WWS," "we," "us," or "our") provides embedded operations and business project management services to other businesses ("Clients"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information in two contexts: (1) when you visit workingwithsky.com (the "Site") or interact with us as a prospective client, subscriber, or visitor, and (2) when we access, receive, or process data belonging to a Client or a Client's business in the course of an active engagement. This Policy is written for a business-to-business (B2B) audience and does not apply to consumer personal data outside that context.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide when you:

  • Submit an inquiry through our website's inquiry form

  • Complete an intake form, diagnostic, or questionnaire

  • Subscribe to our newsletter, "In the Weeds With Sky"

  • Book a call through our calendar scheduling tool

  • Purchase a digital product (e.g., the PM Toolkit) through our online store

  • Email us directly, message us on social platforms, or otherwise communicate with us

This may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, job title, and any information you choose to share about your business in an inquiry, intake form, or discovery conversation.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar tracking technologies, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and general location (city/region level). We currently use Google Analytics in addition to Squarespace's built-in site analytics.

1.3 Client System and Business Data

Where you engage WWS under a Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work (e.g., The Trailhead or Walking the Skyline), we may be given access to your business systems, platforms, accounts, documents, and operational data ("Client Data") as necessary to perform the Services. Client Data may include information about your business operations, staff, vendors, customers, and internal processes. Client Data is governed by the confidentiality terms of the applicable Master Services Agreement in addition to this Policy.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule discovery calls

  • Evaluate engagement fit and prepare proposals

  • Deliver, manage, and invoice active engagements

  • Send the newsletter and other communications you've opted into

  • Fulfill digital product purchases

  • Understand and improve how visitors use the Site

  • Comply with legal, accounting, and contractual obligations

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use Client Data for any purpose outside the scope of the applicable engagement.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the business (each acting as a processor on our behalf), and only as necessary for the purposes above. We currently use service providers in the following categories:

  • Website hosting and digital product delivery

  • Project management, task tracking, and client engagement tools

  • Intake forms and diagnostics

  • Newsletter and email communications

  • Workflow and business process automation

  • Website analytics

  • Document storage

  • Payment processing

  • Financial record-keeping and invoicing

A current list of the specific tools we use is available upon request by emailing sky@workingwithsky.com.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets, in which case we will take reasonable steps to ensure the receiving party honors this Policy.

4. Client Data: Access, Retention, and Deletion

During an active engagement, WWS accesses Client Data only as necessary to perform the Services described in the applicable Statement of Work. We do not use Client Data for marketing, do not share it with unrelated third parties, and do not retain it longer than necessary to perform and wind down the engagement.

Upon termination or expiration of an engagement: WWS will (a) immediately revoke its own access to Client's systems, platforms, and accounts, and (b) delete any Client Data in WWS's possession — including exported files, credentials, and working copies — within thirty (30) days, except where a copy must be retained for a limited period to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or where Client has requested a final handoff copy of specific Deliverables.

Client is responsible for revoking or rotating any credentials it issued to WWS if Client wishes to end access immediately upon termination rather than relying on WWS's deletion timeline.

5. Cookies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly and to understand how visitors use the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some Site functionality. Where analytics cookies are used, you may opt out through the relevant provider's opt-out tool (for example, Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on).

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information (such as inquiry and newsletter data) for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Client Data is retained and deleted according to Section 4 above.

8. Your Choices

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing sky@workingwithsky.com.
You may decline to provide certain information, though this may limit our ability to respond to your inquiry or provide services.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site and our Services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International Visitors

WWS is based in Rhode Island, USA, and our Services are directed at businesses located in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on the Site with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes affecting how we handle Client Data during an active engagement will also be communicated directly to affected Clients.
